Auction result misses estimated price range
In July last year a collector was able to acquire the work To Be Titled by Alex Hubbard for GBP 5,500.00 (€ 6,567.98). This price was achieved in the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale, London at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alex Hubbard achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dead In Pompeii in October 2013 with an auction result of GBP 98,500.00 (€ 116,426.22).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit To Be Titled von Alex Hubbard für GBP 5.500,00 (€ 6.567,98) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale, London bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alex Hubbard erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dead In Pompeii im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 98.500,00 (€ 116.426,22).
