Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Tell Me About It by Alex Becerra was auctioned at Phillips in New York in September last year. The price achieved of USD 5,670.00 (€ 5,795.77) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alex Becerra - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Woman with Tuba, which sold at auction in March last year for USD 16,380.00 (€ 14,766.07).

Die Arbeit Tell Me About It von Alex Becerra kam im September letzten Jahres bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 5.670,00 (€ 5.795,77) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Alex Becerra mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Woman with Tuba beobachtet, die im März letzten Jahres für USD 16.380,00 (€ 14.766,07) versteigert wurde.
