Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Alex Becerra could be acquired at Phillips in New York in February 2018 for an unexpectedly low price. In the New Now auction, the work Living in the Suburbs can be so Depressing changed hands for USD 12,500.00 (€ 10,236.67) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Other works by Alex Becerra have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in March last year by the work Woman with Tuba at USD 16,380.00 (€ 14,766.07).

In der Auktion New Now wechselte die Arbeit Living in the Suburbs can be so Depressing für USD 12.500,00 (€ 10.236,67) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Alex Becerra wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im März letzten Jahres die Arbeit Woman with Tuba mit USD 16.380,00 (€ 14.766,07).
