In the New Now auction, the work Living in the Suburbs can be so Depressing changed hands for USD 12,500.00 (€ 10,236.67) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Other works by Alex Becerra have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in March last year by the work Woman with Tuba at USD 16,380.00 (€ 14,766.07).
