Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Alex Becerra could be acquired at Phillips in New York in September 2019 for an unexpectedly low price. In the New Now auction, the work Bar Scene changed hands for USD 7,500.00 (€ 6,877.58) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alex Becerra - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Woman with Tuba, which sold at auction in March last year for USD 16,380.00 (€ 14,766.07).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Alex Becerra konnte im September 2019 bei Phillips in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion New Now wechselte die Arbeit Bar Scene für USD 7.500,00 (€ 6.877,58) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Alex Becerra mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Woman with Tuba beobachtet, die im März letzten Jahres für USD 16.380,00 (€ 14.766,07) versteigert wurde.
