Auction result misses estimated price range

This work of art by Alex Becerra could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in October 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Art auction, the work Late Night Tip (Fishnets) changed hands for USD 7,560.00 (€ 6,544.32) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alex Becerra - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Woman with Tuba, which sold at auction in March last year for USD 16,380.00 (€ 14,766.07).

Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne

Dieses Kunstwerk von Alex Becerra konnte im Oktober 2021 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary Art wechselte die Arbeit Late Night Tip (Fishnets) für USD 7.560,00 (€ 6.544,32) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Alex Becerra mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Woman with Tuba beobachtet, die im März letzten Jahres für USD 16.380,00 (€ 14.766,07) versteigert wurde.
