In December this year Phillips in 7 - held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art: Online Auction, New York, which included the work Painting of A Painting (Pink Figure w/ Crocs) by Alex Becerra. The »bidding war« ended at USD 4,445.00 (€ 4,018.26), 48% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alex Becerra - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Woman with Tuba, which sold at auction in March last year for USD 16,380.00 (€ 14,766.07).

Im Dezember diesen Jahres führte Phillips in 7 - die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art: Online Auction, New York durch, in der auch die Arbeit Painting of A Painting (Pink Figure w/ Crocs) von Alex Becerra zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 4.445,00 (€ 4.018,26) und damit 48% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Alex Becerra mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Woman with Tuba beobachtet, die im März letzten Jahres für USD 16.380,00 (€ 14.766,07) versteigert wurde.
