Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2019 Phillips in an online auction held the auction Phillips x Artsy Summer School, which included the work The Neighbor is a Puta by Alex Becerra. The price achieved of USD 3,125.00 (€ 2,807.73) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Admittedly, works by Alex Becerra have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Woman with Tuba in March last year with an auction result of USD 16,380.00 (€ 14,766.07).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2019 führte Phillips in einer Online-Auktion die Auktion Phillips x Artsy Summer School durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Neighbor is a Puta von Alex Becerra zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 3.125,00 (€ 2.807,73) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 2.500,00 – 3.500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alex Becerra auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Woman with Tuba im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 16.380,00 (€ 14.766,07).
