A top price for Albert Gallatin - as previously expected
The work New York World'S Fair by Albert Gallatin was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in September 2017. The auction ended at the price of USD 60,000.00 (€ 50,791.50), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, New York World'S Fair is the most expensive artwork by Albert Gallatin that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit New York World'S Fair von Albert Gallatin kam im September 2017 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 60.000,00 (€ 50.791,50) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist New York World'S Fair das teuerste Kunstwerk von Albert Gallatin, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
