A top price for Albert Gallatin - as previously expected
The work New York World'S Fair by Albert Gallatin was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in September 2017. The auction ended at the price of USD 60,000.00 (€ 50,791.50), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, New York World'S Fair is the most expensive artwork by Albert Gallatin that we have observed at auctions so far.
