In April 2011 Sothebys in New York held the auction American Paintings, which included the work Abstract Composition by Albert Gallatin. The »bidding war« ended at USD 20,000.00 (€ 13,494.37), 67% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Albert Gallatin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work New York World'S Fair, which sold at auction in September 2017 for USD 60,000.00 (€ 50,791.50).

Im April 2011 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion American Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Abstract Composition von Albert Gallatin zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 20.000,00 (€ 13.494,37) und damit 67% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Albert Gallatin mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit New York World'S Fair beobachtet, die im September 2017 für USD 60.000,00 (€ 50.791,50) versteigert wurde.
