Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Albert Gallatin could be acquired at Christies in New York in November 2019 for an unexpectedly low price. In the American Art Online auction, the work Composition changed hands for USD 3,000.00 (€ 2,722.57) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Albert Gallatin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work New York World'S Fair in September 2017 with an auction result of USD 60,000.00 (€ 50,791.50).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Albert Gallatin konnte im November 2019 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion American Art Online wechselte die Arbeit Composition für USD 3.000,00 (€ 2.722,57) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Albert Gallatin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit New York World'S Fair im September 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 60.000,00 (€ 50.791,50).
