It achieved a price of USD 17,500.00 (€ 13,124.34), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Albert Gallatin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work New York World'S Fair, which sold at auction in September 2017 for USD 60,000.00 (€ 50,791.50).
