Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
This work without title by Albert Gallatin was sold in the Fine American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture Including the Collection of Dr. Mark and Irene Kauffman auction at Christies in New York in March 2012. It achieved a price of USD 17,500.00 (€ 13,124.34), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Albert Gallatin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work New York World'S Fair, which sold at auction in September 2017 for USD 60,000.00 (€ 50,791.50).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Albert Gallatin wurde im März 2012 in der Auktion Fine American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture Including the Collection of Dr. Mark and Irene Kauffman bei Christies in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 17.500,00 (€ 13.124,34) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Für andere Arbeiten von Albert Gallatin mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit New York World'S Fair beobachtet, die im September 2017 für USD 60.000,00 (€ 50.791,50) versteigert wurde.
