This artwork by Albert Gallatin achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in November 2017. In the American Art Online auction, the work Composition sold for USD 12,500.00 (€ 10,505.97) - well above the upper estimate of USD 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Albert Gallatin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work New York World'S Fair in September 2017 with an auction result of USD 60,000.00 (€ 50,791.50).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Albert Gallatin erzielte im November 2017 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion American Art Online wurde die Arbeit Composition für USD 12.500,00 (€ 10.505,97) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 7.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Albert Gallatin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit New York World'S Fair im September 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 60.000,00 (€ 50.791,50).
