Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Silver Bright Investiture; The Streams Are A Tree Two Works by Alan Saret was sold in the Contemporary Curated auction at Sothebys in New York in March 2018. The price achieved of USD 5,000.00 (€ 4,058.44) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alan Saret achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in September last year with an auction result of USD 63,000.00 (€ 64,397.42).

Die Arbeit Silver Bright Investiture; The Streams Are A Tree Two Works von Alan Saret wurde im März 2018 in der Auktion Contemporary Curated bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 5.000,00 (€ 4.058,44) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alan Saret erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im September letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 63.000,00 (€ 64.397,42).
