Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Spring Nickel Network by Alan Saret was sold in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Afternoon Session auction at Phillips in New York in November 2018. The »bidding war« ended at USD 47,500.00 (€ 41,950.01), 19% above the upper estimate. Other works by Alan Saret have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 63,000.00 (€ 64,397.42) in September last year for the work without title.
