Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2017 Christies in New York held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art Morning Session, which included the work Mainline Polychrome Permutation Cluster by Alan Saret. The price achieved of USD 50,000.00 (€ 42,023.87) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Other works by Alan Saret have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in September last year the work without title was auctioned for USD 63,000.00 (€ 64,397.42).

Im November 2017 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art Morning Session durch, in der auch die Arbeit Mainline Polychrome Permutation Cluster von Alan Saret zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 50.000,00 (€ 42.023,87) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Alan Saret konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im September letzten Jahres die Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 63.000,00 (€ 64.397,42) versteigert.
