Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June this year Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction Prints & Multiples, which included the work Normandie by Adolphe Mouron Cassandre. Here, the upper estimate of USD 6,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 6,400.00 (€ 5,860.81). Admittedly, works by Adolphe Mouron Cassandre have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work GRANDE QUINZAINE INTERNATIONALE DE LAWN-TENNIS in June 2015 with an auction result of GBP 30,000.00 (€ 42,299.62).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in Los Angeles die Auktion Prints & Multiples durch, in der auch die Arbeit Normandie von Adolphe Mouron Cassandre zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 6.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 6.400,00 (€ 5.860,81) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Adolphe Mouron Cassandre auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit GRANDE QUINZAINE INTERNATIONALE DE LAWN-TENNIS im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 30.000,00 (€ 42.299,62).
