Auction result well in line with expectations

In April last year Phillips in New York held the auction Editions & Works on Paper, which included this untitled work by Adam Pendleton. The price achieved of USD 100,800.00 (€ 95,662.90) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Admittedly, works by Adam Pendleton have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (Days) in November last year with an auction result of USD 604,800.00 (€ 585,876.20).

Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen

Im April letzten Jahres führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Editions & Works on Paper durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Adam Pendleton zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 100.800,00 (€ 95.662,90) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Adam Pendleton auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled (Days) im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 604.800,00 (€ 585.876,20).
