Despite a disappointment, a good price for Adam Helms
In September 2014 a collector was able to acquire the work Untitled Portrait (10) by Adam Helms for USD 18,750.00 (€ 14,847.96). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Curated featuring works from the Collection of Joni Gordon of Newspace Gallery at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00 set by the auction house. Despite this disappointing result, Untitled Portrait (10) is the most expensive artwork by Adam Helms that we have observed at auction so far.
