Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled Diptych , 2007 by Adam Helms was sold in the Contemporary Art Online auction at Sothebys in New York in September 2018. The price achieved of USD 4,750.00 (€ 4,087.08) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Adam Helms - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled Portrait (10), which sold at auction in September 2014 for USD 18,750.00 (€ 14,847.96).

Die Arbeit Untitled Diptych , 2007 von Adam Helms wurde im September 2018 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Online bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 4.750,00 (€ 4.087,08) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Adam Helms mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled Portrait (10) beobachtet, die im September 2014 für USD 18.750,00 (€ 14.847,96) versteigert wurde.
