Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Abel Auer could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in September 2017 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Curated auction, this work without title changed hands for USD 2,500.00 (€ 2,116.31) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Abel Auer - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Roter Wald (Red Forest), which sold at auction in September 2010 for GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,337.27).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Abel Auer konnte im September 2017 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary Curated wechselte diese Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 2.500,00 (€ 2.116,31) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Abel Auer mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Roter Wald (Red Forest) beobachtet, die im September 2010 für GBP 3.750,00 (€ 4.337,27) versteigert wurde.
