Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March 2020 Phillips in New York held the auction New Now, which included this untitled work by Zilia Sánchez. The »bidding war« ended at USD 23,750.00 (€ 21,534.14), 19% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Zilia Sánchez have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Topología Erótica in March 2019 with an auction result of USD 175,000.00 (€ 155,860.35).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März 2020 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion New Now durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Zilia Sánchez zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 23.750,00 (€ 21.534,14) und damit 19% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zilia Sánchez auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Topología Erótica im März 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 175.000,00 (€ 155.860,35).
