Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Topología (serie Amazona) by Zilia Sánchez was sold in the Latin America auction at Phillips in New York in May 2015. The price achieved of USD 50,000.00 (€ 45,479.35) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Zilia Sánchez - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Topología Erótica, which sold at auction in March 2019 for USD 175,000.00 (€ 155,860.35).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 50.000,00 (€ 45.479,35) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden.
