Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2009 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Modern Paintings, which included the work Ladies Among Flowers by Zhou Changgu. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 81,250.00 (€ 6,990.30), 16% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Zhou Changgu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Mountains In Autumn in October 2014 with an auction result of HKD 667,000.00 (€ 68,669.59).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2009 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ladies Among Flowers von Zhou Changgu zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 81.250,00 (€ 6.990,30) und damit 16% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zhou Changgu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Mountains In Autumn im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 667.000,00 (€ 68.669,59).
