Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2021 Bonhams in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings, which included the work A Girl with Flower Basket by Zhou Changgu. The price achieved of HKD 7,012.50 (€ 794.31) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 5,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhou Changgu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mountains In Autumn in October 2014 with an auction result of HKD 667,000.00 (€ 68,669.59).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2021 führte Bonhams in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Girl with Flower Basket von Zhou Changgu zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 7.012,50 (€ 794,31) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 5.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhou Changgu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Mountains In Autumn im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 667.000,00 (€ 68.669,59).
