Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Zhou Bichu achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in Hong Kong in April this year. In the Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art auction, the work Chrysanthemum sold for HKD 456,000.00 (€ 465,665.22) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 200,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Zhou Bichu; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Jiaxing Misty Rain Pavilion sold at auction in April this year with the realized price of HKD 744,000.00 (€ 759,769.57).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Zhou Bichu erzielte im April diesen Jahres bei China Guardian in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Chrysanthemum für HKD 456.000,00 (€ 465.665,22) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 200.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Zhou Bichu; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Jiaxing Misty Rain Pavilion im April diesen Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 744.000,00 (€ 759.769,57).
