Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2015 POLY in Hong Kong held the auction Chinese and Asian Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Scenery of the Park by Zhou Bichu. It changed hands for a price of HKD 531,000.00 (€ 62,034.96) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 450,000.00 – 550,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhou Bichu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Jiaxing Misty Rain Pavilion in April this year with an auction result of HKD 744,000.00 (€ 759,769.57).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2015 führte POLY in Hong Kong die Auktion Chinese and Asian Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Scenery of the Park von Zhou Bichu zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 531.000,00 (€ 62.034,96) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 450.000,00 – 550.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhou Bichu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Jiaxing Misty Rain Pavilion im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 744.000,00 (€ 759.769,57).
