The work Scenery of the countryside by Zhou Bichu was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2006. It achieved a price of HKD 228,000.00 (€ 22,110.55), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 52%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhou Bichu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Jiaxing Misty Rain Pavilion in April this year with an auction result of HKD 744,000.00 (€ 759,769.57).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 52 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Scenery of the countryside von Zhou Bichu kam im November 2006 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 228.000,00 (€ 22.110,55) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 52%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhou Bichu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Jiaxing Misty Rain Pavilion im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 744.000,00 (€ 759.769,57).
