A top price for Zhou Bichu - as previously expected
The work Jiaxing Misty Rain Pavilion by Zhou Bichu was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Art auction at POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong in April this year. The price achieved of HKD 744,000.00 (€ 759,769.57) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 600,000.00 – 800,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Jiaxing Misty Rain Pavilion is the most expensive artwork by Zhou Bichu that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Jiaxing Misty Rain Pavilion von Zhou Bichu wurde im April diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art bei POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 744.000,00 (€ 759.769,57) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 600.000,00 – 800.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Jiaxing Misty Rain Pavilion das teuerste Kunstwerk von Zhou Bichu, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
