Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Azalea by Zhou Bichu was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2010. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 250,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 275,000.00 (€ 25,532.60). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhou Bichu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Jiaxing Misty Rain Pavilion in April this year with an auction result of HKD 744,000.00 (€ 759,769.57).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Azalea von Zhou Bichu kam im Oktober 2010 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 250.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 275.000,00 (€ 25.532,60) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhou Bichu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Jiaxing Misty Rain Pavilion im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 744.000,00 (€ 759.769,57).
