Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2007 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Chinese 20th CenturyArt, which included the work Jing Gang Mountain by Zhou Bichu. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 223,500.00 (€ 19,537.99), 24% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhou Bichu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Jiaxing Misty Rain Pavilion in April this year with an auction result of HKD 744,000.00 (€ 759,769.57).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2007 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Chinese 20th CenturyArt durch, in der auch die Arbeit Jing Gang Mountain von Zhou Bichu zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 223.500,00 (€ 19.537,99) und damit 24% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhou Bichu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Jiaxing Misty Rain Pavilion im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 744.000,00 (€ 759.769,57).
