Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2007 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art, Day, which included the work 05.40 by Zheng Delong. The price achieved of GBP 12,000.00 (€ 17,807.40) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Zheng Delong - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Soul (06.08), which sold at auction in October 2006 for GBP 28,800.00 (€ 43,029.77).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2007 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Art, Day durch, in der auch die Arbeit 05.40 von Zheng Delong zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 12.000,00 (€ 17.807,40) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Zheng Delong mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Soul (06.08) beobachtet, die im Oktober 2006 für GBP 28.800,00 (€ 43.029,77) versteigert wurde.
