Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Dog II by Zheng Delong was sold in the Under the Influence auction at Phillips in New York in March 2012. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 6,250.00 (€ 4,687.27) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Zheng Delong have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Soul (06.08) in October 2006 with an auction result of GBP 28,800.00 (€ 43,029.77).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Dog II von Zheng Delong wurde im März 2012 in der Auktion Under the Influence bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 6.250,00 (€ 4.687,27) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zheng Delong auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Soul (06.08) im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 28.800,00 (€ 43.029,77).
