Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sunflower by Zhang Kunyi was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2021. The price achieved of HKD 119,700.00 (€ 12,815.76) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Admittedly, works by Zhang Kunyi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Mice And Turnip in October 2017 with an auction result of HKD 687,500.00 (€ 75,667.50).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sunflower von Zhang Kunyi kam im April 2021 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 119.700,00 (€ 12.815,76) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zhang Kunyi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Mice And Turnip im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 687.500,00 (€ 75.667,50).
