The work Wild Geese In The Moonlight by Zhang Kunyi was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2018. It achieved a price of HKD 125,000.00 (€ 14,075.19), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 39%. Admittedly, works by Zhang Kunyi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Mice And Turnip in October 2017 with an auction result of HKD 687,500.00 (€ 75,667.50).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 39 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Wild Geese In The Moonlight von Zhang Kunyi kam im Oktober 2018 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 125.000,00 (€ 14.075,19) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 39%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zhang Kunyi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Mice And Turnip im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 687.500,00 (€ 75.667,50).
