The work Spring Breeze by Zhang Kunyi was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2020. It achieved a price of HKD 189,000.00 (€ 20,933.29), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 58%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Zhang Kunyi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Mice And Turnip, which sold at auction in October 2017 for HKD 687,500.00 (€ 75,667.50).

Die Arbeit Spring Breeze von Zhang Kunyi kam im Oktober 2020 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 189.000,00 (€ 20.933,29) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 58%. Für andere Arbeiten von Zhang Kunyi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Mice And Turnip beobachtet, die im Oktober 2017 für HKD 687.500,00 (€ 75.667,50) versteigert wurde.
