Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Spiders By Bamboo by Zhang Kunyi was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2019. The price achieved of HKD 62,500.00 (€ 7,114.32) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Kunyi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mice And Turnip in October 2017 with an auction result of HKD 687,500.00 (€ 75,667.50).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Spiders By Bamboo von Zhang Kunyi wurde im April 2019 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 62.500,00 (€ 7.114,32) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhang Kunyi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Mice And Turnip im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 687.500,00 (€ 75.667,50).
