Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2019 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings, which included the work Dragonfly In Lotus Pond by Zhang Kunyi. The price achieved of HKD 118,750.00 (€ 13,572.95) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Admittedly, works by Zhang Kunyi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Mice And Turnip in October 2017 with an auction result of HKD 687,500.00 (€ 75,667.50).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2019 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Dragonfly In Lotus Pond von Zhang Kunyi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 118.750,00 (€ 13.572,95) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zhang Kunyi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Mice And Turnip im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 687.500,00 (€ 75.667,50).
