Sold at the upper estimate price
The work Lotus by Zhang Kunyi was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2014. The auction ended at the price of HKD 150,000.00 (€ 13,950.97), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of HKD 120,000.00 – 150,000.00. Admittedly, works by Zhang Kunyi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Mice And Turnip in October 2017 with an auction result of HKD 687,500.00 (€ 75,667.50).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Lotus von Zhang Kunyi kam im April 2014 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 150.000,00 (€ 13.950,97) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 120.000,00 – 150.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zhang Kunyi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Mice And Turnip im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 687.500,00 (€ 75.667,50).
