It achieved a price of GBP 16,250.00 (€ 20,712.92), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 35%. Admittedly, works by Zeng Jianyong have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work After Typhoon (Triptych) in April 2014 with an auction result of HKD 1,360,000.00 (€ 126,488.82).

Die Arbeit Two Works: The Header No. 124 ; Growing No. 5 von Zeng Jianyong kam im Oktober 2008 bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 16.250,00 (€ 20.712,92) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 35%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zeng Jianyong auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit After Typhoon (Triptych) im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.360.000,00 (€ 126.488,82).
