Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Morning Sun No. 4 by Zeng Jianyong was sold in the Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art Online auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2017. It changed hands for a price of USD 8,750.00 (€ 7,787.47) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 7,000.00 – 9,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zeng Jianyong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work After Typhoon (Triptych) in April 2014 with an auction result of HKD 1,360,000.00 (€ 126,488.82).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Morning Sun No. 4 von Zeng Jianyong wurde im Mai 2017 in der Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art Online bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 8.750,00 (€ 7.787,47) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 7.000,00 – 9.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zeng Jianyong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit After Typhoon (Triptych) im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.360.000,00 (€ 126.488,82).
