Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2015 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale), which included the work Mountain and Stream by Zeng Jianyong. The price achieved of HKD 162,500.00 (€ 19,067.22) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 120,000.00 – 220,000.00. Admittedly, works by Zeng Jianyong have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work After Typhoon (Triptych) in April 2014 with an auction result of HKD 1,360,000.00 (€ 126,488.82).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2015 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Mountain and Stream von Zeng Jianyong zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 162.500,00 (€ 19.067,22) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 120.000,00 – 220.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zeng Jianyong auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit After Typhoon (Triptych) im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.360.000,00 (€ 126.488,82).
