Auction result well in line with expectations
The work White Night by Zeng Jianyong was auctioned at POLY in Hong Kong in October 2015. The price achieved of HKD 306,800.00 (€ 35,842.42) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 270,000.00 – 350,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Zeng Jianyong - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work After Typhoon (Triptych), which sold at auction in April 2014 for HKD 1,360,000.00 (€ 126,488.82).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit White Night von Zeng Jianyong kam im Oktober 2015 bei POLY in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 306.800,00 (€ 35.842,42) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 270.000,00 – 350.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Zeng Jianyong mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit After Typhoon (Triptych) beobachtet, die im April 2014 für HKD 1.360.000,00 (€ 126.488,82) versteigert wurde.
