Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Captain Series (Two Works) by Zeng Jianyong was auctioned at Sothebys in Beijing in December 2015. The price achieved of CNY 70,800.00 (€ 10,066.78) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CNY 60,000.00 – 90,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zeng Jianyong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work After Typhoon (Triptych) in April 2014 with an auction result of HKD 1,360,000.00 (€ 126,488.82).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Captain Series (Two Works) von Zeng Jianyong kam im Dezember 2015 bei Sothebys in Beijing zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von CNY 70.800,00 (€ 10.066,78) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit CNY 60.000,00 – 90.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zeng Jianyong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit After Typhoon (Triptych) im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.360.000,00 (€ 126.488,82).
