Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Growing No. 3 by Zeng Jianyong was auctioned at Phillips in New York in May 2010. The price achieved of USD 6,250.00 (€ 5,052.95) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zeng Jianyong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work After Typhoon (Triptych) in April 2014 with an auction result of HKD 1,360,000.00 (€ 126,488.82).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Growing No. 3 von Zeng Jianyong kam im Mai 2010 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 6.250,00 (€ 5.052,95) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zeng Jianyong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit After Typhoon (Triptych) im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.360.000,00 (€ 126.488,82).
