In September last year Phillips in London held the auction Evening & Day Editions, which included the work Solid (Edition No. 31) by Zaha Hadid. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,386.00 (€ 1,577.40), 39% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zaha Hadid achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Liquid Glacial Colour Coffee Table in December 2018 with an auction result of USD 300,000.00 (€ 261,871.51).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 39 % übertroffen
Im September letzten Jahres führte Phillips in London die Auktion Evening & Day Editions durch, in der auch die Arbeit Solid (Edition No. 31) von Zaha Hadid zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 1.386,00 (€ 1.577,40) und damit 39% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zaha Hadid erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Liquid Glacial Colour Coffee Table im Dezember 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 300.000,00 (€ 261.871,51).
