Auction result well in line with expectations
In July this year Phillips in New York held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art, which included the work Z-stream by Zaha Hadid. The price achieved of USD 127,000.00 (€ 115,245.01) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Zaha Hadid - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Liquid Glacial Colour Coffee Table, which sold at auction in December 2018 for USD 300,000.00 (€ 261,871.51).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli diesen Jahres führte Phillips in New York die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Z-stream von Zaha Hadid zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 127.000,00 (€ 115.245,01) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Zaha Hadid mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Liquid Glacial Colour Coffee Table beobachtet, die im Dezember 2018 für USD 300.000,00 (€ 261.871,51) versteigert wurde.
