Auction result well in line with expectations

The work FIELD OF TOWERS- Chess Set by Zaha Hadid was auctioned at Christies in London in July 2020. It changed hands for a price of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,365.68) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zaha Hadid achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Liquid Glacial Colour Coffee Table in December 2018 with an auction result of USD 300,000.00 (€ 261,871.51).

Die Arbeit FIELD OF TOWERS- Chess Set von Zaha Hadid kam im Juli 2020 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 7.500,00 (€ 8.365,68) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zaha Hadid erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Liquid Glacial Colour Coffee Table im Dezember 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 300.000,00 (€ 261.871,51).
