Auction result well in line with expectations
The work 'Nekton' Stools, From The 'Principal' Collection by Zaha Hadid was auctioned at Sothebys in London in September 2020. The price achieved of GBP 5,040.00 (€ 5,557.42) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zaha Hadid achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Liquid Glacial Colour Coffee Table in December 2018 with an auction result of USD 300,000.00 (€ 261,871.51).

Die Arbeit 'Nekton' Stools, From The 'Principal' Collection von Zaha Hadid kam im September 2020 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.040,00 (€ 5.557,42) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zaha Hadid erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Liquid Glacial Colour Coffee Table im Dezember 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 300.000,00 (€ 261.871,51).
