Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2004 a collector was able to acquire the work Mississippi Night Lights (Minneapolis) by Yvonne Jacquette for USD 3,346.00 (€ 2,523.57). This price was achieved in the auction Prints and Multiples at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 3,500.00 – 4,500.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Yvonne Jacquette have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work 29Th Street Night View in March 2016 with an auction result of USD 16,250.00 (€ 14,266.90).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2004 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Mississippi Night Lights (Minneapolis) von Yvonne Jacquette für USD 3.346,00 (€ 2.523,57) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Prints and Multiples bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.500,00 – 4.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yvonne Jacquette auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit 29Th Street Night View im März 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 16.250,00 (€ 14.266,90).
