Auction result well in line with expectations

The work Wonderful Craftsmanship by Yuyu Yang was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2011. It changed hands for a price of HKD 187,500.00 (€ 16,772.75) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 150,000.00 – 200,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yuyu Yang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Advent of the Phoenix in November 2007 with an auction result of HKD 2,047,500.00 (€ 178,988.97).

Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen

Die Arbeit Wonderful Craftsmanship von Yuyu Yang kam im Mai 2011 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 187.500,00 (€ 16.772,75) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 150.000,00 – 200.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yuyu Yang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Advent of the Phoenix im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.047.500,00 (€ 178.988,97).
